Reviews

These are just a few of the lovely reviews we have received from our guests:

"We had a wonderful week staying in Poltor cottage, that has everything! We visited Cornwall as two couples each with a dog. We had our own space with each bedroom having a bathroom and the dogs were perfectly happy on their own beds in the lounge area. The beds were comfortable and the showers lovely with plenty of towels for the week. The care and detail that has gone into the cottage is amazing, everything we could possibly have wanted had been thought of. The utility area with back door was ideal for bringing wet dogs indoors after the mud had been washed off in the doggy shower (dog towels provided). The beautiful garden with sea views was also secure for the dogs to use. We were in two cars and were offered a second parking space next door which worked really well. The location is perfect for exploring the area and Eden project and there are lovely walks from the cottage. I would recommend this cottage and it will be top of our list when we revisit this area of Cornwall"

"This is most beautiful cottage we have ever stayed in. Everything you need for a relaxing break. We had two weeks here and it is so handy for all major places to stay in Cornwall. Eden project 10 minutes away. Sea view and Par beach from bedroom window. Cottage is simply gorgeous, hosts are lovely and welcoming. Garden is lovely and we had lots of wildlife to see. If I could recommend it any higher I would. Bedrooms have great comfy beds and cottage very well appointed in all rooms. Lovely welcome pack provided with all you need. Scones, jam and clotted cream included- they were fab"

"Poltor Cottage was a home from home the minute we walked in the cottage door. The warm welcome our whole family received from Jeanette and Jonathan was second to none and the care and attention to detail throughout the whole spacious cottage ensured a very relaxing stay. Everything you could need was catered for, essential supplies in the kitchen, a very generous welcome basket, which was enjoyed by all, and a beautiful garden with sea views and a fantastic patio with seating and sun loungers. The standard of the furnishings was very high and the beds were so comfortable, enabling you to get a great nights sleep before going out to explore beautiful Cornwall the following day. The location is excellent to get out and about, very close to the A390 but you wouldn't know it as the cottage is very peaceful and tranquil".
